EUGENE, Ore. -- Greetings from Autzen Stadium, where just moments ago I was "looking live at Brent Musberger" as we rode up the elevator together. Brent is 70 years young and he hasn't lost an ounce of energy. It's funny. Earlier today ESPN Classic aired a replay of the 1983 NCAA basketball final (Houston-N.C. State), for which Musberger did the play-by-play (on CBS). That was 26 years ago. And Brent is still getting the primetime gigs. I am an unabashed, unapologetic Musberger fan.

The weather in Eugene? Cloudy but comfortable. Autzen's press box provides one of the country's prettier views, especially with the backdrop of the fall colors. Notice, by the way, that USC's and Oregon's colors all are in sync with the various hues of leaves this time of year. That is, unless the Ducks wear black this evening.
Hope you have time to follow the Twick-or-Tweets tonight. Happy Halloween!

I can't believe that USC is ranked in the top 5. They are just not that good of a football team. They will lose to Oregon.
USC should be number 1 in the BCS yea they got beat by oregon that goes to so you that the Pac - 10 is the best forget the SEC they have all the easy ass teams to play
LOL! What happened to this wonderful USC? They are America's favorite....joke that is....LOL!....Bring those Ducks on down to the SEC for a while....we'll teach them how to play football....Like maybe for a start getting some uniforms that look half decent....LOL!....Quack....Quack!....Oregon and USC both still suck and neither are very good....If you think they are....Let them play the rest of the year in the SEC....LOL!....= no more wins....hehe....!
pac 10 teams will beat any sec team
USC still the best team hands down
SEC SUCKS
Weak ass SEC teams
USC WHO? OH YEA THE ONES WHO GOT THEIR ASS HANDED TO THEM!!!!!!!!!
THERE'S STILL 3 SEC TEAMS IN THE TOP 10 HOW MANY PAC 10 THERE. YOU DO THE MATH
Those SEC teams are in the top-10 on reputation alone. How many impressive wins do the three of them have, combined? Barely ONE (Alabama over V-tech).
