College football has just slipped past its midpoint and finds itself with uncertain championship and Heisman Trophy races. With a scary slate of games scheduled for Halloween night it begs us to ask, is this a trick or a treat? Like that creaky floorboard and a rustling just outside your door, some of us perhaps cower at what might be around the corner -- Alabama's first Heisman? Texas and its impotent run game in the BCS Championship? Nooo, nooooo! we tremble.But maybe its just a nightmare. A scary dream. We can only guess at the yet-to-be-revealed future.
