shouldn't the first look say something (anything) about how pathetic it is that the BcS allows Ohio State to get into a prime bowl game? Either Boise State should've been selected or we need to dump this 2-per-conference nonsense and get a team like Texas Tech in a showcase game. who are we "showcasing" by allowing OSU, VT and Cincy in through the backdoor? sheesh

Yea, that easy scheduling includes beating #2 Texas (yes, the same school OSU is playing in the Fiesta Bowl) in 2006, and #2 Michigan as the last game of the year - but you're right, thats prolly not a tough last game.

I fully concede that OSU hasn't been impressive this year against the top 2 opponents they've faced, but please exhibit some semblance of journalism when you post your garbage.

I forgot to add: Texas will most likely dominate this game. OSU's offense won't be able to keep up. Line is -9 right now, expect it to go up to -11 by kick-off.

The Big 12 North was terrible. Texas had a very weak schedule outside the Big 12. They won one big game against Oklahoma. The only other team that ended up in the Top 20 that they beat was Oklahoma State. The Big 10 was very weak. The Buckeyes have nothing to lose but if they were to beat Texas it would show the Big 12 was over rated.

ok lets go on and on about how the big ten sucks....but lets also look at the journalism as one smart man said above.....everyone always looks down at the big ten...always flat out. but lets talk sense,last year a michigan team under loyd carr(that ohio state beat last year) beat florida (pretty much the same team that destroyed the buckeyes the year before)......for what game? the rose bowl?....michigan is pretty much the same team this year minus one or two players...and michigan sucks this year under ...dear i say.... a big east coach from the used to be "holy mountaineeers"....am i right or am i lying? someone tell me! and yes you guys run your little mouths about ohio state...but theres been quite a few times where everyone ran their little flappers and said ohio state didnt stand a chance...2006 at longhorn stadium....2002 against the hurricanes(national championship game as well)....both of those times after ohio state proved you wrong you guys shut your mouths...but as soon as ohio state gets beat its "god ohio state friking sucks they dont deserve a shot".....when someone else gets beat i dont hear all this nonsense about them or their conference being well over done..well guess what there isnt a single undefeated team in any of the bowl games....and usc....heres the thing about usc that you guys apparently havent figured out by now (its the most obvious thing to see too).....when usc wins its pretty much a blowout...when they lose...its a close game...and that doesnt change no matter whom they play....ITS ALWAYS THE SAME....and they got beat by whom? oregan state? who in the world is that...and lets not even get me started on "POWER MIZZOU",THEY HAD EIGHT STARTERS ON DEFENSE COME BACK THIS YEAR AND THEY HAD ONE OF THE BEST DEFENSES LAST YEAR!...now look at them...they probably cant stop barbara bush (the one whos married to bush sr.) from running down the field...and got beat by kansas so im going to explain something and im going to spell it out for you Y.O.U N.E.V.E.R K.N.O.W. H.A.P.P.E.N in college football,and if you really want to pick on a pathetic and wortless conference...look no further then THE ACC!!...."well the acc is all about basketball!!!"....i know some idiot is going to say that.....well guess what....michigan beat two teams that were in the top four from the acc in basketball already...point is its college...its not the pro's were players are either made or broken,anyone remember ryan leaf? troy smith? ricky williams? maurice clarret?.........REGGIE BUSH!...all arent living up to their expectaions,or just flat out flopped and went home....the last great player (notice i said great not good,their is a difference before you guys start screaming and acting stupid) to come out of college football is drew brees (the guys talent,and potential is rediculous).....and what division did he come from...the big ten!,and most of the time alot of the near great players..great players..... soon to be legends or legends arent even drafted in the first round....tony romo.....tom brady.....and even BRETT FAVRE were not drafted in the first round....most of the time COLLEGE is just a bunch of kids trying to have fun, finish school and go pros to put money in their pocket....every one just needs to accept the fact that you dont know whats going to happen (who thought texas would get beat by texas tech,who was destroyed by oklahoma,whom texas beat?) need i say more? im in iraq right now and i feel like i know more about sports then the people watching them everyday back at home...thats truelly sad that knowlege of great sports is thrown away because of you alls hatred towards the buckeyes,no ones screaming about penn state going to a bcs....whys that? Wonder why Texas isn't playing Alabama. Do you think it could be to avoid embarassment of the BCS? If Oklahoma beats up on Florida and Texas would have beat Alabama by a significant margin, wouldn't Texas have a legitamate claim as the #1 team?
