The rumor has been floating almost since Ron Prince was fired resigned. There was almost immediate talk that K-State would bring back Bill Snyder as head coach. The man that made K-State football relevant would come back to save the program. That the 69-year old Snyder was bored with retirement and wanted to coach.

Snyder was tabbed by the Wildcat Athletic Department to lead the search to find the best candidate to take over the football program. It looks like Snyder decided the guy was in his mirror.
Kansas State has scheduled a news conference for 10 a.m. Monday. There, sources say, the school will introduce Snyder as its next head coach, though no introductions will be necessary.
Multiple news outlets are reporting the same confirmation. Snyder will reportedly get a 5-year, $9 million contract.
