Once a demon of defensive football, LSU has now given up 50+ points in a game for the second time this year. First, giving up 51 to Florida two weeks ago, and now 52 to Georgia in a 52-38 loss. Georgia rolled up 443 yards of total offense, but were still short of the 50 point mark late in the fourth quarter. But Jarrett Lee was determined, throwing a lazy ball down field that was easily intercepted and run back for a touchdown by Darryl Gamble of Georgia. His second of the day.
LSU actually had more total yards (495) than Georgia, but three interceptions thrown by Jarrett Lee killed any chance of the Tigers winning the game. The good news for LSU is that they only have one team, Alabama, left on the schedule that will have the firepower to put up another 50. Then again, if you throw up the interceptions like Lee, anything is possible.

Ok... my Tigers don't play alot of "D" these days. But in all fairness, the Georgia "O" v. LSU "D" = 38pts. Yes, the same amount the LSU "O" put up against the Georgia "D". Turnovers still hurt, and a loss is a loss. I am not sure what Les Miles plans to accomplish with not only a dual QB system, but also a dual Def. Coordinator system. The latter seeming to be contributing to the demise of the Tigers presently.

Clearly the better team won. As for the LSU "O", the last 14 pts.were against a Ga. "D" pretty much playing prevent, not really worried about the LSU running game, but making sure the clock kept running. Anyway it was a good game between two good teams. Go Dawgs!

LSU vs GA was no doubt an exciting game regardless of the outcome. Cudos must be given to the LSU players as they never quit fighting. I was proud of Georgia's "patchwork" offensive line but when you have a runner like Moreno it doesn't take very big holes to gain very big yardage, likewise LSU's running backs feasted on the GA defense,
I love my DAWGS and I just hope they can give Florida a taste of how Kentucky must have felt...that was just gross.
