The College Football Songbook is a weekly feature in which we'll be making as much fun as humanly possible of the most embarrassing moments in college football. Through words, music, and related video we'll leave a lasting memory implanted on the brains of the vanquished that they are not soon to forget.
Ugh! I couldn't side step this one again. The show goes on, even when it's your team.

Couldn't have happened to a more rational, stable fanbase. Well earned, WVU, well earned.

That song made the loss almost worth it.
Who am I kidding? Great song, but NOTHING will ever make that loss worth it.

Thanks Mt. Laurel. Look on the bright side, we don't play this weekend.

The best part of the ECU / WVU game is that my season tickets are next to the visitors section and there were several WVU fans saying that they didnt understand why they kept playing ECU, because ECU just wasnt in their class. Needless to say those guys were bailing in the third quarter. It seems that Pat White's arrogance has rubbed off on his fan base. Both were brought back down to reality Saturday.

Now Sam, Pat is about the least arrogant person walking the planet. Three 11 win seasons and top 10 finishes in a row can make you a little arrogant, though. If you can hold on to Skip, you might know that feeling one day.
It was a great win, and ECU was the better team that day.
