Matthew Stafford was decently efficient (18 of 28 for 213 and two touches) and Knowshon Moreno was an absolute monster (18 carries for 168 yards and three trips to the end zone) but I think we all know that it was Mark Richt's message on his brand spankin' new blog (MarkRicht.com) that inspired Georgia to a 56-17 slaughterhouse of Central Michigan on Saturday.
I want to see if our atmosphere can exceed anything Central Michigan has ever experienced. I am challenging the fans to get as loud as they can when Central Michigan is on offense and they're trying to communicate signals, plays and audible. You can make a difference! I want Central Michigan to see what SEC Football is all about.Truly inspiring. And kind of impressive that Richt has a blog. Too bad he doesn't even know what one is.
Coach Mark Richt
Georgia coach Mark Richt plans to blog Sunday. Sometime between now and then he'll have to figure out exactly what that is.Yet ... he ... somehow ... already ..... blogged? Is it meta? Or does Richt just not care? I'm guessing the latter. Also, it would be nice to hear him blog about red-shirting Moreno, an act he admitted was a pretty big mistake after tonight's game. I'm not guessing he mentions that though.
"I don't even know what a blog is, to be honest with you," Richt said with a laugh Thursday afternoon.
(Double fist head pound to Game On for finding said site.)

Coach Richt,
I'm the mother of four boys...we have always been impressed with your dedication not only to GA football, but to your family and to our Savior Jesus Christ.
I couldn't believe my ears when I heard your commercial for Akins Ford...tell me it isn't so---my four sons had already heard your commercial and told me that you "cussed" in it, but I thought surely that wasn't right.
Please remember that whatever, wherever we are, people are listening--even a common word that "a lot" of people use associated with bulldogs can be deceptively innocent...my husband and I don't expect you to be perfect, but would ask you to reconsider the language used in advertisements in the future.
We look forward to continued good things from the Bulldogs and from the Richt family.

I was appalled at what i heard Richt say last night at halftime in the Alabama game on national tv. These are not the word CHRISTIANS ought to use.

Gina,
With all due respect, he used the word "damn", as in Damn Good Dawg. Maybe you are not an alum, like myself, so let me please explain to you that the phrase "Damn Good Dawg" refers to Uga and to our best players. Its commonly used, its even on one of our beloved Uga's burial markers.
Its not that big of a deal. And it doesn't make him any less of a Christian.

exactly. Come one, lets not get worked over the word "Damn" used light heartedly and for inspiration. Coach richt is an awesome human being and to implicate he did anything that could be percieved as a bad example is ludicrous.

Jimmy chapman needs to put down his "holier than thou" attitude and apologize for disrespecting a fine christian man. To be christian does not mean to be perfect.judge not lest ye be judged...amen.

Coach Richt
I have been sort of disapointed with the lack of efficientcy of of Geogia's redzone offense. For example in the Tennese game we had to settle for 4 field goals.I think this is due to the lack of diversity in the play calling. In that game I lost count of how many sweeps the offense ran. Also in the Vandy game we ran a lot of sweeps. If we want a chance of winning the rest of our games I think that we should try to run a more variety of plays.
