Hard to tell if this is just one last jab at West Virginia on his way out the door, or if this stuff meant so little to him that he didn't care to take it along. But you can go look at Rich Rodriguez's house that he has for sale in Morgantown. If you're the patient type, you can just let the pictures flow until they get to the lower level. Or you can go straight to that by choosing the lower level from the gallery. From what I saw, this was the only room with decorations or furniture still remaining. In my mind, a real estate agent wouldn't let those things be photographed when every other room in the house is void of any personal items. Unless they had instructions to do so. I'm leaning toward him just not wanting the stuff as it would clash in Ann Arbor. But why not just throw the stuff away? It couldn't possibly be a selling point for a potential buyer. As no one in West Virginia wants anything to do with Rodriguez, and anyone that can afford that house probably has something a little more classy in mind.

There does appear to be some items left on the shelves, but I would assume the shelves were far more fully stocked when he lived there. I would venture to guess that he left a few knick-knacks (maybe as a bonus for the future owner, if s/he wants it) and kept the meaningful stuff.

Yeah, if I would have seen the ball he intercepted in the '84 Penn St. game, this would have been a much better story.
