Alabama coach Nick Saban said linebacker Rolando McClain was involved in a motorcycle accident but sustained only minor injuries.Cue the usual "I can't believe this guy could be so stupid" muttering from concerned citizens, but more important around these parts is how sucky McClain is at riding a motorcycle. He got in an accident Thursday, right? Guess when he bought the motorcycle?
The sophomore was released from a hospital in his hometown of Decatur after the accident Thursday.
A friend who was with the player moments before the accident told The Decatur Daily that McClain had bought the motorcycle earlier Thursday.Rolando McClain + shiny new motorcycle + matter of hours = road pizza.

Here we go again. I bet home boy never took the riders safety class to learn how to ride.. I have been riding for 38 years and see it every week.. We can only hope he was not trying a stunt like Winslow did a couple of years ago.. Spend $100 bucks and take the riders course you bone head !!!

At what point does "Don't take ANY un-necessary RISKS" come to mind? I thought sports athletes weren't supposted to be on bikes? A number of them have been injured/killed on bikes doing stupid stunts just like this. I've been riding for 30 years without any serious accidents. I even raced for a while and never had any serious crashes. I have more trouble on horses than motorcycles :)

As mentioned previously, anyone who gets on a motorcycle without taking the state-approved motorcycle safety course is an idiot.
Lots of newbies think riding a motorcycle is like drive a car, but with two wheels.
