Perhaps even more galling to Bama fans is this exchange in the video's comment thread, filled with typical Alabama-Auburn vitriol, and this slightly exaggerated truth:
[Supposed Bama Fan] What do they play when they lose?Guess it makes getting bitten by a dog just about worth it.
[Supposed Auburn fan]: None of the current players, students, band members, etc. would know. They were all in middle school the last time Bama beat Auburn.

If you don't have a tradition... borrow someone else's.

Right, War Eagle, Toomer's Corner... AU obviously has no traditions. That's definitely what's going on here...

Pete we do have a tradition. We always sing our fight song, "War Eagle", and Glory to Ole Auburn when we win. It's just fun for us to do what Bama has done to other schools, be total A-holes. Trust me, the only time we sing Rammer Jammer is when we beat Bama. So, basically six times in a row!

Well, if they had enough of them they wouldn't feel the need to use Alabama's, would they?

Come on, Pete. Are you saying there were no Alabama fans doing the "gator chomp" in 2005?
I seem to remember a certain Million Dollar Band playing the "Tennessee Waltz" after a rare Tide win in Neyland Stadium circa 2002. That's a UT tradition, win or lose. I will say that they "politely" waited until after the Pride of the Southland finished to begin with their own version of the song.
Each team in the SEC has some kind of tradition. Those traditions that taunt opponents are particularly subject to being turned around and used on the losing party. Florida fans will be chomped at (if/when they ever lose), Georgia fans will be barked at, and Vandy fans will be largely ignored. It's the nature of the SEC...and it's fun. Nobody would ever accuse a Bama fan of coming up with alternate lyrics to "Rocky Top", would they?!

Pete knows Auburn has plenty of tradition. Some of it is just started SIX years ago. That SIX is what Pete doesn't like.
Pete is just a little sore from his SIX beatings.
