This video is from his pre text messaging days. It's from 1985 to be exact, in a game between Salisbury's USC Trojans and the Baylor Bears. With USC down 10-7 in the third quarter, Salisbury has the Trojans on the march inside the Baylor "red zone". He also had his sights dead set on a receiver facing double coverage. You know what happens next.
Remember this video the next time he agitates about a quarterback making an impossibly bad decision.
USC would go on to lose that game 20-13. Think that end zone interception made a difference?

This is so stupid. No analyst who was a former pro has ever been perfect. Just because he sucked in his playing days doesn't mean he doesn't know when a pro quarterback has made a bad decision. This is just a another pointless post, which is becoming a disturbing trend here at the Fanhouse.

I was just having fun with a random video I found of Salisbury throwing a particularly dumb interception. It happens to the best of them.
I'm not saying nor implying he doesn't know anything or is unworthy of commenting about quarterback play. I'm just saying "remember this video" the next time he does.

Hilarious!! It's not that I don't think Salisbury knows what he's talking about, it's that he's so darn arrogant. He's always talking about all the coaching jobs that come his way...well, if he's so sure of himself, why doesn't he get out from behind the desk and put his money where his mouth is!

Actually, Steve, I find that anything connected to Fanhouse blogging is a waste of valuable sports space. You know, where "real" sportswriters write about sports.
In the never-ending quest to do things on the cheap, AOL has decided letting the amateurs cover sports is what we want...and as usual, they are wrong.
