Kentucky Football Is Blowin' Up ... Literally

They've reconciled with their head coach, they're coming off of a rare bowl season, and they're gearing up for an even better bowl showing in 2007. But if anyone involved with Kentucky football says that the 'Cats are ready to explode on the scene, I don't think this is what they would be talking about:

Kentucky safety Marcus McClinton was arrested Sunday with the awesome but ambiguous charge of "wanton endangerment." Specifically, McClinton, a 6' 1" sophomore who lead the Wildcats in interception last year, seems to have been endangering himself mostly, as a homemade explosive went off in his hand. In what sounds like an old Mr. Wizzard episode gone horribly wrong, McClinton was making the explosives out of dry ice placed in water bottles.
