The star-crossed Alabama receiver and possessor of the best catch ever has gone under the knife yet again:
The surgery at DCH Regional Medical Center, performed last Thursday by Dr. Les Fowler, was to remove scar tissue restricting range of motion on his ankle, the university said in a statement Monday.The kicker:
He spent a month in the hospital after infection set in.Yuck. And yet Joe Theismann is suffered to inflict woe upon all who behold his terrible visage at hundreds of dollars an hour. This is some Book of Job stuff going on right here. At this point Prothro is unlikely to ever play again. Emoticon of ultimate sadness :(

tyron prothro has become and will forever be a legend in alabama footbal its a shame he did get the chance to go further. but his mere presence fires his team up and i have a feeling that this season he will see a team on fire

God bless you Tyron Prothro. I keep hearing people remark that he'll never play again. Or if he does he will not be the same talent again. I personally do not believe that Tyron subscribes to this line of thinking. I believe this young man will do every- thing in his power to heal, rehab, & make a comeback.
If he has the will & it's in the Lord's will for him to return - watch out world! Get well Tyron! R!T!R!

Prothro has been seen JOGGING!! around campus in T-Town.
Now this doesn't mean that he'll be playing, maybe he can at least lose the crutches and lead a normal life.

some DB's! Tyron Protho is a great W.R.but there have
been plenty more Ozzie Newsome,Wayne Wheeler, Joey Jones,ETC. The cubbard is nowhere near empty,current players D.J. Hall,Keith Brown,Nick Walker,and there are plenty more, are excellant receivers!
I think this year should be better with the new Staff, with new head Coach NICK SABAN!!!!!
time will tell and gut feelings make me feel revenge is just around the STATE LINES TENN.,AUB,and Lest we forget MISS. ST.(we still love Coach Croom,but not your team,payback a coming!So let it be written,so shall it be done!!!!!!
