what does oklahoma really have to play for? the object in bowl season is go win your bowl game, regardless of the opponent. it sounds like boise st. want to take down the mighty, tradition rich sooners for all the little guys acrooss the country. and what do the sooners have to gain in a victory...the fiesta bowl hardware itself, recruiting, etc. but what h.s. recruit will come to norman because "oohh, you guys beat boise state!" the focus isn't on"david vs. goliath". its about all those preparation things that win games that bob stoops and co. do so well that matter and the lesssons and confidence that the players this past season! and a 100% healthy #28 doesn't hurt either. go sooners!!!

This is just another game on OU's bedpost. Boise State? Has anyone ever hear of schedule strength? We're one of the best in the country. We should have been assigned a more reputable school.

Mike, and you other butt heads! Give the little guys credit! They've played good ball, albiet against little schools in the WAC, non-the-less, they've achieved greatness in their own right. They've earned the right to this bowl game. Do you think they bought themselves in? OU also earned thier way in. If you truly feel OU was cheated, they cheated themselves by losing during regular season. I don't think the BSU football "budget" would come close to that of OU, Florida, Alabama or the rest of your so called reputible schools. BSU prides itself on academics first, sports programs last, unlike some of the "reputible" schools. So let's see how it plays out. I think its great for these two totally differant teams to be matched up. I also think BSU has an up hill battle in all honesty. Final thought: GO BRONCOS!

Just browsing a week after The Game. Dear Mr. "Should have been assigned a more reputable school:" Elitists are the bane of competitive college football and the sulfuric essence of self-appointed aristocracy runs in their veins. Perhaps your favorite vaunted OU geneticist can explain to you that, in the borrowed words of Spike Lee, "The mo' colors, the mo' bettah." More teams equal better teams. Stop trying to hoarde all of the goodies for yourselves. You remind me of a two-year old. Cowboy up!

FLUKE! Will see if Boise could do it again. That had to be the Sooners poorest performance since TCU in 05.
