Remember that loss to Ohio State in week 2? Remember how devastating that was? Remember feeling that the season was lost? Well 8 straight wins later and Texas needs only one more win to clinch a spot in the Big 12 Title Game. Which means that we are more than likely going to clinch after our match-up against Kansas St. And who knows, if we beat K State, A&M, and win the Big 12, we may have the opportunity to get a rematch against Ohio State in the BCS National Championship game. This year's Big 12 Title Game will be played on December 2 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Not exactly sure why they play the game there, the weather will probably be bad and it doesn't have a retractable roof. I preferred the game much more in Houston (plus we get home-field advantage).

yeah, i was just wondering how colt mocoy is a heisman candidate when the only good team that they've played all year (ohio state) is the game where he choked. but at least he did good in the sam houston state, north texas, and bailor game. im surpised he's not number one on the heisman list

yeah, you're right. he has only thrown for 27 touchdowns (UT record) and will break the all-time NCAA freshman touchdown mark. he is no good. he only threw for 2, 2, and 4 touchdowns against OU, @Nebraska, and @Texas Tech. pretty good argument you have there.

McCoy actually had a decent game against Ohio State. He had the one horrible pick to start the second half but he also had several drops by his receivers and would've had Texas up at halftime if Billy Pittman doesn't fumble on the 2.

McCoy is a good player, but he as numerous weapons on the offensive side of the ball. His receivers turn short slants into 60 yard touchdowns and his offensive line is the best in the country. To even mention is name in the same sentence as the heisman is a little ridiculous at this point...

i think what u meant to say is he has good recievers but isnt the best passer. now dont get me wrong, i think most of his mistakes are freshman mistakes. he'll be good his junior and senior year. well as long as he gets good recievers :)

You don't think Troy Smith, Brady Quinn, etc have talent at the receiver position or good offensive lines? That is ridiculous.
Colt McCoy has thrown for 27 touchdowns in 10 games, AS A FRESHMAN. He is for real and deserves at least a mention in the Heisman race. I don't think he should win, but he is definitely in the Top 15.

okay, i at least have to agree with that. just like hawaii, they may not play anyone but their qb still puts up good numbers
