Trick or Treat Louisville

Oops! The word focus does not come to mind right away. After returning from Syracuse where they had won 28-13 several hours before, Louisville wide receivers Chris Vaughn and Scott Long did not do what they were supposed to. It wouldn't be crazy to come home from a big win and go out on the town with the guys. Maybe meet up with some ladies that are just dying to hook up with players from the #7 Louisville Cardinals.

But what would be crazy is hanging outside a haunted house, peppering people with paintball guns as they walked out the door! And that's just what our boys Chris and Scott did, allegedly.

Louisville wide receivers Chris Vaughn and Scott Long were placed on investigative suspension after being arrested on charges of second-degree assault for allegedly shooting a woman with a paintball gun over the weekend. Vaughn and Long were outside a haunted house in downtown Louisville when they allegedly fired shots at people coming out of the house according to Louisville Metro Police public information officer Dwight Mitchell.

As you might expect, Louisville head coach Bobby Patrino was not happy. Both players were suspended pending investigation. I doubt this will effect the game much as neither receiver has been a big part of the offense this year. Chris Vaughn has four catches for 54 yards. Long has come up a little short in the catching department with zero.

Louisville and West Virginia play on Thursday, November 2nd for what is perceived to be the Big East championship, and a shot at the national title.
