The Big 12 had it's media day and out of nowhere, Texas Tech coach Bob Knight showed up wearing Duck colors. Knight's never one to back down from a fray, that's for sure. I thought the issue was dying down, Knight shows up and reminds everyone of Oklahoma's hypocrisy.. Saying "If I had thought of that, I would have worn a big duck emblem on the front of the sweater," Knight of course, is taking great delight in the anger of the Sooners this year. His glee is based on Oklahoma complaining about a missed call this year in football, after his Red Raiders were denied victory in 2003 at Oklahoma because of admitted errors by the Sooner clock operator. Regardless of how you feel about Knight, he's got a point. And to his credit, he's willing to stick his kneck out to make it. Bad calls happen everywhere, but the goal has to be for officials to get enough right that it doesn't affect the outcome of the game. For or against Oklahoma, Oregon, Tech or anyone else. Okay Sooner fans, bring on the hate mail, I know it's coming.

Well, it seem that, again Bob Knight's memory is no longer than his..... temper. It seems like just last year his Red Raider football team were on the generous end of two questionable calls by the zebras. THAT'S BECAUSE IT WAS LAST YEAR. Just another blowhard focusing on what is convienient for him. Or perhaps is is focusing on what gets him ink. Personally, I think a character of a duck in a "fowl" mood suits him to a T.

Exactly, just another 'blowhard focusing on what is convenient for him'. Gee, doesn't that perfectly describe you and all of your own Sooner whiners? Yes. Sooner Nation and Bob Knight. A perfect fit. Glad you enjoy each other so much. You're perfect together. Whine on Sooner. Whine on.

Lindy..you get an "F" in Reading Comprehension 101....
#1 Bobby Knight doesnt coach the TT football team.
#2 Officals who are not employed by Oregon cost Oklahoma a game while a clock operator who IS an employee of Oklahoma University cost Texas Tech a game.
Oklahoma refused to forfeit or void the results of the TT game but are whining to the NCAA to do exactly that for the Oregon game.... that fits the definition of Irony... something you obviously dont comprehend but "blowhard" Bobby Knight certainly does.

Interesting to note that neither Al Richards nor Keith Tackett addressed the OU vs Texas Tech (couched by Mike Leach) FOOTBALL game. Secondly. Al I am amazed that you thought to call me a whiner. What's next? Perhaps Oh yea?
Then to dear Keith. I did use the possesive pronoun his when referring to the Tech football team.
I assumed Bob Knight would show some allegience to that sport as well. You, howerever assumed that I wanted the game forfited. I personally NEVER suggested to anyone that ANY game should be forfited. It is my belief that the contest should be decided on the field of play.
Bye the way it is don't, not dont.

Okay Lindy, you're just making a fool out of yourself now. Learn to spell forfeit, and your use of the word 'bye' instead of 'by' is a classic demonstration of your edumacation in Chokelahoma. Seriously, stay home and leave the actual discussion to people who use their brains for something besides crushing beer cans.
You did't argue that Knight is wrong, because you can't. So instead you change the subject, then your third grade education shows up and even that effort looks ridiculous. We're impressed more and more by real Sooner fans like you every day. Keep it up Lindy, keep it up.
