Crazy Screeching Harpy Wonders Why UT Wants Her to Be Quiet

At first glance, it seems like a typical story of a university cracking down on a young, enthusiastic fan in favor of rich bluehairs:

Tennessee fan Victoria Caldwell said she was speechless after receiving a call from the UT Athletic Department on Thursday. ... Caldwell, a first-time season ticket holder, said UT's Bill Higdon called her at home and said other fans had complained about her.

Their complaint? She cheers too much.

Dammit, this is just like those people who scream at me to sit down when I try to get up and cheer on critical third downs! This is outrageous! Fight the power, Vict--

Suddenly it becomes clear that anyone who gets in trouble for cheering too much and too irritatingly at a Tennessee game is deeply annoying indeed. Hell, I can barely get through that 15-second clip, let alone three hours . A choice quote from the article that make more sense after that little display:

"I thought she was drunk the first time I saw her (at the season opener against Cal)," said Arnold, who has been attending UT football games for 34 years, since he was 6. "But she wasn't."

WELL.....SHE IS QUITE LOUD AND OVERLY ENERGETIC. SHE IS VERY WILD IN HER GYRATIONS AND SHE DOES HAVE A JUMPABLE BODY.....I RECOMMEND A "LOUISVILE SLUGGER" TO THE BACK OF HER HEAD TO CALM HER DOWN WHEN SHE GETS "THAT" WAY AND INCREASING THE "DOSAGE" AS DEEMED NECESSARY.

Just another woman that desperatly needs to have people pay attention to her. She is a first year ticket holder and probably knows little about the sport.
As far as the argument that "she paid for her ticket" so did all the people around her and have to endure this dumb bitch yelling "please pay attention to me I am nothing but a set of boobs and a mouth"

hello it is a football game not a funeral. you are supose to get excited and if you noticed all old people were around her there just upset they cant stand up and do that any more. may be she needs to take a friend and do it more or they need to move her seats to where other people actually cheer the team on instead of sitting on there hands with a thumb up there...

Cheering is fun but some people overdo it and make a nuisance of themselves. I make more noise than the average fan but I sat next to a loudmouth at a Jags game who had my ears hurting before the first quarter was over. He did all his yelling when everyone else was quiet. I was sorely tempted to hit him but he was a retired Marine and probably would have kicked my 68 year old butt.

I think it's time for the adults that act like kids finally grow up. I find for some the word "RESPONSIBLE" is too big of a word for them, so what do you do?
